No Bake Sweet and Salty Snack Bars

(Allergy Friendly) Makes 12 bars

3 tablespoons honey

½ cup natural peanut, almond, or Sun- butter

Pinch of salt

¼ cup dried fruit

½ cup puffed rice cereal

½ cup crushed pretzels

½ cup pumpkin seeds or chopped nuts

¾ cup old fashioned oats

¼ cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

Line a 9×9-inch square baking dish with wax paper, leaving a few inches of overhang on sides to allow for easy removal.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add honey, peanut butter and salt. Microwave for 1 minute, stirring every 20-30 seconds, until well combined. Allow ingredients to cool and thicken.
Toss together remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until fully incorporated.
Transfer mixture to prepared pan and use a spatula to spread evenly and press down firmly. Cover pan with aluminum foil and place in the fridge or freezer to set for 2 hours, or overnight. Once bars have set, remove from pan and slice into bars. Store in the fridge or freezer for best results.
