Green Tea Vinaigrette with Garden Basil


Serves: 4

Serving Size: 1/4 cup per person

Preparation Time: 10 minutes


  • 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 tbs fresh garlic (chopped)
  • 2 tbs. Green tea (powder)
  • 2 tbs. Soy sauce
  • 2 tbs. Chopped basil
  • 1 tbs. Cracked black pepper
  • Juice of 1 whole orange
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 tbs. Tahini
  • Salt to taste (soy sauce will add quite a bit of salt)
  • 5 oz of mixed greens or spinach


1.) Add all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth and consistent, for about 15 seconds.

2.) Toss and serve over your choice of greens or spinach.

Preparation Tips:

This works as well for marinating a chicken breast.  The best greens to serve this over are mixed greens or spinach
