The delivery of healthcare is progressing in new directions by modernizing an old beloved means of providing healthcare – at home. Within the last few years Hospital at Home was created, allowing qualified and certified hospitals to provide acute care to their patients in the comfort of their homes. Home healthcare in general is expanding exponentially by providing a much broader range of healthcare support to patients at home. The future of this phenomenon can be a primary solution for allowing over-burdened hospitals to focus on those patients who cannot be properly cared for in a home environment.
